BFC unveils Institute of Positive Fashion Forum schedule

Highlights include the 2023 Innovation Showcase, returning for its third iteration and featuring a curated set of innovators who are addressing key sustainability and responsible business challenges across fashion’s complex value chain. The IPF Forum’s Delivery Collaborator, Deloitte, will lead a workshop that will provide businesses with practical advice on how to embed low-carbon practices into the supply chain.Within the schedule, the keynotes include ‘Earth Is Our Only Shareholder: How Patagonia Is Using the Power of Action’ with speaker Tyler LaMotte, Marketing Director, Patagonia EMEA; and ‘The Circular Economy and Coachtopia: Introducing a New World of Circular Craft’ delivered by Joon Silverstein, SVP Global Marketing, Creative and Sustainability for Coach, and Emily Chan, Senior Sustainability and Features Editor for British Vogue.Among the hack sessions are ‘Creating the Blueprint for City-level Circular Fashion Ecosystems’, ’Empowering Citizens Through Technology for Garment Care’, and ‘Measuring the Impact of Circularity on the Path to Net Zero’. Speakers for latter session include Jules Lennon, Fashion Initiative Lead at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, and Amy Powney, Creative Director of Mother of Pearl.Meanwhile, a series of workshops and showcases include Student Fabric Initiative, powered by The Materialist; and How to Make Your Traceability Program Successful, with TrusTrace.
